Adam Reid "Hello Lonesome"
Adam Reid came Center Stage with Mark Gordon to talk about his first feature film HELLO LONESOME. The show originally broadcast Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
Single urbanite Gordon (NATE SMITH) meets Debby (SABRINA LLOYD) online and finds their new relationship put to the ultimate test. A suburban widow (LYNN COHEN) gets much more than she was looking for when she loses her license and leans on her neighbor (JAMES URBANIAK) for support. And, in the country, successful voice-over artist Bill Soap (HARRY CHASE) starts to make amends for being such a lousy father.
Sparkling with wit and humanity, HELLO LONESOME is the first feature film from writer/director Adam Reid and was inspired by a personal story from his own life. The cast includes Sabrina Lloyd (Sports Night), James Urbaniak (American Splendor, You Don't Know Jack), Lynn Cohen (Sex and the City, Munich), Kamel Boutros, Nate Smith (This American Life), and award-winning voiceover artist Harry Chase in his feature film debut. Adam Reid also serves as producer and cinematographer. Editing is by Scott Rankin and the original score is by Ted Gannon. The film features music by the Brooklyn-based band Jones Street Station.
